Auditory

Making a noise is our first instinct and the first sensory feedback we get. Our perception of sound varies with age: babies love to find an object that makes a consistent sound, which can be irritating to their elders. Electronic noises can be wonderful, but tuned bells are remarkable technology and are appreciated by all ages. Music is the ultimate sound, reaching deep into individuals in ways which are hard to express, initial musical exploration should be encouraged. Scent on the other hand is often undervalued, humans have lost the knack over the aeons goes the theory. But scent is hard-hitting, triggering memories and making deep associations. Our range is small and tucked away in auditory, but don't overlook the subtle and influencial importance of smell in behavior.
