Each cube has a picture of half a farm animal, when the two cubes are put in the tray making a correct picture the tray emits the sound of the vehicle twice. The sound is quite quiet so it is good for listening skills. The animals are a horse, a cow, a dog, a pig, a sheep and a chicken. The whole toy is very sturdy does not need good fine motor skills to get a great reward. The children I worked with once they had matched the picture up correctly liked to remove one cube and put it back to get the sound again, we got lots of language from this product too.
