 Ours was blue and yellow.

You hold the ends and shake or twist the clatterpiller and it makes a noise.

It can make a sound rather like a football rattle if you put the ends together and move them quickly up and down. If you do it slowly it is quiet and you can watch each segment move.

It is an attractive toy which fascinated the children more than I expected. They all wanted a go and enjoyed experimenting with the different sounds it could make.
