This is the most beautiful toy. There are 16 block shakers, all containing a different filling. No two shakers are the same. Each block has a depth of 3 1/2 cm. The four different shapes are rectangle(14x7cm), Triangle(14x14x14cm), square(7x7cm) and half circle(base 14cm). The four fillings are liquid and glitter, beads, sand and clear coloured Perspex. All the triangles are green but have a different filling, the rectangles blue, the squares are red and the semicircles yellow. There lovely to hold up the light or to use the with a light panel. They are great as a reward for building a block tower. The little boy I was working with once he had built a tower of three bricks he was allowed one of these shakers to put on the top, this was a fantastic motivational reward. As none of the Shakers are the same they are a good toy for instructions and observational skills. Please can I have a green triangle filled with glitter. My only criticism of the toy is perhaps its name, as the Perspex filling is not really a shaker! However all the others are. |
