The tray features two compartments separated by a hump so water or sand can be separated or transferred from one side to the other.
The two separate wells can be used with almost any textural material including: beans, water, sand, and rice. Ideal for encouraging gross motor work, sorting, body awareness, and, above all, tactile stimulation.

The table over all for activity wise is great with lots of enjoyment when used. However, it is difficult to get hands fully into the water/sand and only able to play on the surface when wheelchair is pushed in. The other issue is the drain is not in a good location as it is halfway up on the side and not able to drain the water fully, have to scoop about 2” plus of water out. We did drill a hole on the bottom and plugged hole that originally was there and now we are able to fully drain the water. Wish it was built this way for the money that was paid for it.
